This is a video for my art class that is supposed to be under 2 minutes long.  It uses a combination of live action and flash animation.  I’m almost finished with it.  Expect the video this week!

Video sneak peak?  Hell yes!  This is not the video that is coming out in about two weeks.  This is the first test I did for a pretty big project you can expect at the latest by March.  Get excited!

Alright guys good news.  I just got into VCU Arts!  VCU Arts is a very competitive art school.  They accept like 400 applicants.  It’s the number 1 public arts school in the United States and the number 4 Art and Design in the Country.  I don’t mean to brag but I worked very hard for this and I’m very excited about it!

Alright that’s all about me.  Videos have begun production.  It should be up no later than 3 weeks or so.  The deadline for my art class is like February 1st or something so Sometime around there.

Well it’s the end of 2009 and I hope everyone had a good year.  2010 will be filled with more videos and hopefully some exciting things for Mixed-Studios.  Hope everyone has a good 2010!

Well first off I heard back from my first college.  I got into Savannah College of Art and Design!  I have not heard from my top choice school the School of Visual arts but it feels great to get accepted into one on your top three.

Second, I got snowed in at my friends house for two days which was fun and which also explains my lack of activity.

Hey all!  Just want to keep you guys up to date with the new projects Mixed-Studios will be working on.

In my portfolio class my hard ass but awesome art teacher is making me do a video series that will last the rest of the school year.  I just had to write a 3 page proposal about the project so this is pretty serious.  The series will explore visual effects and it will contain two videos.  The first one is going to be really awesome trust me.  It’s very cool.

Ok now as part of my senior thesis project me and a friend of mine are teaming up to create a 15 minute long music video.  More on that later as well.

Finally over christmas break a short little sketch video will be filmed and finished.  That is just a small fun project.

Videos are coming!  Keep an eye on the blog for updates regarding them.  Stay tuned!

Ok so you may have noticed some funky things going on around the site the last few days. Once again the site had an update. The site is now less clunky and is better as a whole. Before the video section was separate from the blog which just made things harder for users. Now everything runs together and the site is now geared toward a blog like format so whenever you come here you know exactly what is up. Do not worry the forums were not touched for this update so everything is fine there. I know I have said this ten thousand times but this is seriously and honestly how the site is going to stay. I like the overall look of the site and how it acts much better now.
